Senior CPG or Food Services Recruiter ' Contract ' full or part time
Reports to: Talent Acquisition Leader
Location: Home Office Based or Pittsburgh, PA
Heinz North America is seeking full-life cycle contract recruiters with previous food services or CPG recruiting experience to support talent acquisition across the United States and Canada. This senior recruiting role handles all aspects of the recruitment process including, but not limited to:
1. Scheduling and leading the talent acquisition strategy meeting upon position approval.
2. Influences the strategy and handles the full-lifecycle recruiting activities including job ad creation, posting, sourcing, screening, candidate presentation, offer and negotiation support, close of candidate and all compliance and requisition management within the applicant tracking system.
3. Partners with the Talent Acquisition Coordinator for scheduling administration and candidate reporting.
4. Functioning as a senior talent advisor to coach and collaborate with the hiring manager and interview team across all levels of the organization to optimize time to fill, cost per hire and most importantly the quality of hire and candidate experience.
Who will be successful in this role?
- We are looking for an individual with a Bachelor's Degree in business or other applicable experience as well as 3 or more years of prior corporate based consumer goods or food services direct recruiting experience and at least 7 years of total HR or talent acquisition professional experience in a corporate setting. Previous manufacturing recruiting exposure is required. Recruiting experience solely within a search firm or agency environment is not preferred.
- The successful candidate will also have experience recruiting across the United States influencing and hiring against multiple functional areas from junior level individual contributors to senior level management roles. Exposure to recruiting in Canada is preferable, but not required.
- Significant experience with applicant tracking systems and proven knowledge of OFCCP, EEO and AA legal requirements in recruiting.
- Past experience with Microsoft Office tools such as word and excel at a basic level and intermediate to advance in Microsoft Outlook.
- Demonstrated proficiency in marketing / sourcing techniques including lead generation, diversity recruiting, Internet, interactive strategies, social networking, Linked In, resume job boards, etc.
- An individual with a strong passion for top candidate experience with an iconic branded firm and a strong focus on results, business partnership, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Must have relevant knowledge and understanding of compensation frameworks to best support a candidate's understanding of the highly competitive Heinz package.
- We strongly prefer someone with a global mindset who has also worked outside of the Pittsburgh market for some portion of their career with proven experience recruiting for a multi-site organization.
