Operations Delivery Manager - 3 month contract - Immediate start - £30000 per annum pro-rata Based Leeds Experienced operations manager required for training and skills council based in the centre of Leeds close to the station for a 3 month fixed term contract (until the end of December 2009) You will be responsible for leading the operations delivery support team in the day to day supplier management and support services co-ordination Maintaining daily contact with defined support services suppliers and lead on the day to day operations delivery elements Manage defined contracts with support service suppliers including conducting weekly meetings Resolve all issues arising from the operations process and contribute to the quality framework and processes to ensure a high quality product and level of service Establish manage and maintain compliant process relationship management drafting correspondence and acting as a business representative for interpreting and resolving issues with support systems Applicants must be educated to A level standard or equivalent and have experience of managing an operational service and leading a suppliers management in an operations capacity. You will have a background in relationship management services and experience working as part of a team to deliver an operations service. The ability to manage operations systems and processes excellent people management skills and strong administration skills are essential. You must have proven skills in managing contract performance and budgets. Experience working within a national government or public sector organisation is desirable.
