The Background:

The Role:

The responsibilities of a Global Mobility Assistant Manager will include but not limited to the following:

Establish work unit objectives and assign caseload

Team performance management (including recruiting, 1-1 meetings, performance appraisals, coaching and development and addressing performance issues)

Drive team performance to meet team and company objectives

Audit staff work and assure data integrity

Provide technical support on operational issues, concerns and questions, including problem resolution and troubleshooting

Serve as primary client contact regarding day-to-day operational issues.

Assist Business Dev in preparing and delivering presentations to existing/potential clients

Ensure data integrity of the team

Work to support client, customer and associate satisfaction

Lead and manage a group of Global Mobility Consultants

Ability to positively manage through change, and to lead Consultants through change

Broad understanding of relocation process and procedures, key financial and performance measures

Solid understanding of customers needs, client policies and procedures

Client focused

Knowledge of client billing and billing abstracts as assigned

The Person:

The successful candidate will have previous experience dealing with: international assignments, global mobility or expatriate management. Applicants will have a high-level of credibility within the market and have a true understanding of what constitutes as excellent service delivery. Applicants must be commercially aware, customer & client focussed with a view to ultimately increase bottom line value. Strong people management skills are essential to the success of this role.
