Human Resources Coordinator - Richmond
As the point person of Human Resources your engaging and approachable personality will allow you to communicate effectively with all levels of people from Maintenance staff and Trades people to the Boardroom.
The Human Resources Coordinator will:
* Provide direction on Employment Law
* Update Employee Intranet.
* Prepare and proofread memos, reports and presentations;
* Write Job Postings
* Handle monthly benefits administration, manages employee files, and filling out new hire files
* Prepare and deliver, as needed, new employee orientation program, presentations and correspondence.
* Be involved in all areas of compensation, benefits, and the implementation of company HR policies and procedures.
* Provide HR advice to supervisors and employees on policies and procedures.
* Implement HR procedures with the goal of meeting business objectives
* Prepare and deliver, as needed, new employee orientation program, presentations and correspondence.
* Assist in planning employee events.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
* 1-5 years in a Corporate Human Resources department.
* Ideally have a certificate in Human Resources
* Ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues and employees
* Strong judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to exercise confidentiality
* Applicants should be flexible and able to prioritize multiple projects
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to be pro-active, self-motivated, flexible, and work under minimal supervision.
* Strong skills in MS Office and internal HRIS programs.
