This is a very broad and very hands-on role covering everything from employee induction, training programs, WorkCover, HR policies & procedures, interpretation & implementation of employee agreements & awards, and recruitment through to assisting with the presentation of HR strategic and operational advice to a number of diverse business unit management teams. You will also have the opportunity to work on a number of new Human Resources related projects and initiatives.
Reporting to a highly experienced, personable and energetic Human Resources Manager who is keen to train and mentor the successful candidate, and supported by a small team, ideally you will be tertiary qualified in HR or a related discipline, possess around 3 years generalist HR experience honed in an industrial setting, and have excellent relevant computer skills. Naturally your written and verbal communication is first class and as a Human Resources professional your interpersonal and negotiation skills ensure win-win outcomes at all levels.
