 POSITION SUMMARY 


MassMutual Financial Group is seeking a skilled Senior Recruiter to be responsible for direct sourcing and recruitment of talent for MassMutual and our subsidiaries. This individual will have account management responsibility for a functional business or line of business (Actuarial, Risk Management) and will partner closely with hiring managers and Human Resource Business Partners to assess long-term and short-term strategic recruiting goals used to develop and implement comprehensive diversity and recruiting strategies that meet business needs. The senior responsibilities encompass the entire recruiting process to include sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessment and selection. A key component of this position is the proactive development of candidate pools/pipelines for important skills needed throughout our business.  


KEY RELATIONSHIPS 


Reports to:             Shannon Levesque, AVP Strategic Recruiting Other Relationships:          Business Partners, Human Resources, Compensation


OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY: 


Provide value added recruiting services to designated line of business
Act as account manager/consultant to the line of business with the goal to develop and implement robust recruiting and sourcing strategies
Responsible for building credible relationships with business and HR partners
Take the lead in fostering collaborative relationships within the department
Partner with Talent Management partners regarding internal talent movement & growth.
Partner with members of the Employee Resource Groups to generate diverse talent
Develop proactive diversity recruiting strategy for line of business with goal of presentation of diverse candidate slates for all roles
Leverage social media vehicles for robust sourcing and networking efforts
Pro-actively generate candidates for open positions and for opportunistic hiring; meet candidate slate objectives
Meet all defined service level agreement timelines, recruiting metrics and compliance guidelines
Provide competitive information to business lines for use in hiring
Consult with compensation regarding market data and specific compensation needs and initiatives.
Assist in the definition of process and procedure with thought leadership in regards to recruiting “Best Practices” and legal compliance
Assist with projects to augment further growth recruiting function.

 CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS: 

Seasoned recruiter with 7+ years of solid recruiting experience in the actuarial community – Life Side.
Expertise in recruiting for professional level positions in a large corporation and/or a search firm environment is preferred.
Experience in full cycle recruiting; experience with senior level compensation packages a plus
Experience generating candidates direct; cold calling and candidate generation experience a must.  Comfortable using various social media tools in sourcing candidates
The ability to interface with all levels of management and demonstrated experience in providing pro-active, cost-effective recruiting solutions is critical to success.
A business-driven mindset - key to understanding the client's needs and providing value added recruiting services.
Customer service mentality a must in adhering to service level agreements
Familiarity with employment law and experience utilizing an applicant tracking system preferred.
Candidates must be PC proficient, able to work independently as well as in a team, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Solid communication and organization skills; responsive, and proactive communication style; interacts well at all levels of the organization verbally, and via written communication
BS/BA degree
