Our client, one of the world’s leading providers of lifelong education, helps individuals achieve their educational and career goals.​ They are currently looking to hire an HR Manager /​ Human Resources Generalist to join the business on a 9-12 month maternity cover contract.​

As the HR Manager /​ Human Resources Generalist, the successful candidate will work within an HR team of five, concentrating your efforts on driving and co-ordinating a number of important HR projects, including:

- Implementing a new HR System

- Designing and introducing competency profiles for all job roles

- Rolling out an online appraisal system

The HR Manager /​ Human Resources Generalist will also provide exceptional generalist support to part of the management team responsible for approximately 350 employees.​

To succeed within this role, the HR Manager /​ Human Resources Generalist will need to demonstrate proven project management experience, excellent experience in an HR generalist role including significant expertise in dealing with employee relations and performance management issues.​

The chosen applicant will also show a good understanding of employment legislation and its practical implications, and will be fully IT literate.​
