Position Summary


The Director, Executive Recruiting is responsible for providing
the highest level of executive recruitment services to the organization. Acting
as the leader of a team of one to three recruiters and a recruiting assistant, this
position requires the individual to be a working manager with strong
influencing skills and the ability to operate in a highly matrixed environment.
This position delivers high quality, professional and executive-level talent.
This individual will perform full lifecycle recruiting and maintain excellent
relationships with hiring managers and advance the brand across numerous markets and
professional communities, while guiding hiring managers and candidates through
the selection process. A wide range of creativity,
near- and long-term recruiting vision, business understanding and personal
organization is required.  


 


The director  will 
assist in identifying and implementing new strategies as well as
enhancing existing best practice programs in response to the company's needs.
This individual will play both strategic and consultative roles, partnering
with the business to identify and define current and future workforce needs,
including ongoing forecasting for attrition, and changing market conditions.
She/he will have the opportunity to help drive an HR initiative to develop a
staffing system that is recognized for being collaborative, professional,
responsive, and highly driven to achieve/exceed objectives.



Reporting Relationships


Reports
to the vice president, strategic talent management and enterprise learning
and development.


Responsibilities:



Keeps informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in
order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.
Conducts talent assessments, recommends and
develops talent and search strategies for key positions in the
organization based on specific business needs.
Oversees recruiting system, metrics and
reporting utilizing the Taleo system.
Partner with HR and business unit leaderships
to implement talent strategies and associated metrics.
Creates and fosters relationships with diverse
professional organizations to attract and recruit alumni and diversity
candidates.
Conducts proactive sourcing of external talent
to ensure a readily accessible talent pipeline as succession planning
needs dictate.
Creatively develops internal candidate slates
to provide both visibility and stretch opportunities to identified talent.
Consults with hiring managers and HR to assess
talent and recommend the most-qualified candidates.
Meets or exceeds industry performance
benchmarks for time to fill, cost per hire, customer satisfaction and
quality of hire metrics. Monitors progress against these metrics; makes
suggestions for process improvements.
Takes the lead in identifying, negotiating and
managing the relationships between the business partner, HR and external
search firms.
Facilitates executive on-boarding sessions
with new hires and their staffs and provides recommendations to HR business
partners on future opportunities.
Organizes, leads and documents post-interview
debrief/feedback and post-mortems with interview team and candidates.
Gather data and report on executive recruiting
activities globally.
Manages the selection, offer, negotiation,
closing and administrative components involved in the full lifecycle
recruiting.
Maintains accurate and
well-organized documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers
interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure a safe and
thorough audit if required.



Qualifications:


Degree in human resources or related field recommended, or
equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
8-plus years success-oriented executive
recruiting. Proven experience in recruiting top talent in the technology
function.
Experience in managing a team.
Experience with and strong knowledge of
state-of-the-art search and recruiting methodologies.
Knowledge of a server-based applicant tracking
systems, preferably Taleo.
Excellent consulting, negotiating, process
improvement and project management skills.
Demonstrated skill in written and verbal
communications, problem-solving and customer service.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships,
think strategically and be a strong team player.
Knowledge and flexibility to recruit for a
broad/deep range of positions.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential
information appropriately.
Strong initiative and solid judgment
abilities/skills.
Demonstrated ability to
function/recruit on a national, multi-location level and to
support an innovative, fast-growth environment.
Able to manage competing demands, accept
criticism and constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and
flexible.
Attention to detail along with the ability to
process information with high levels of accuracy.
Flexibility to be available to candidates and
internal customers outside the normal workday, and to travel approximately
10% of the time.
